Beer Description
Our Wet Hop Ale is brewed with 300 pounds of freshly picked, first-of-the-season Cascade Hops from Hop Head Farms. These hops were plucked fresh from the bine during their peak time of aroma and flavor, and were sent directly to Lost Forty Brewing within 48 hours. By utilizing wet hops still full of moisture, herbacious notes of fresh pine shine through more boldly than beer styles hopped using normal methods.
With aromas of freshly zested grapefruit rind, our Big Dam Beer offers a medium body balanced to showcase wet hops. The robust character of the fresh Michigan Cascade hops makes each sip burst with a citrus aroma and end with a bright, balanced finish.
