Beer Description
The Cardinal is a Flanders-style ale that begins as a Belgian red ale. It is brewed and then barreled with cherries, lactobacillus, and brettanomyces. This process is replicated two more times over the course of 18 months. All three batches are then carefully blended and bottled to form the perfect balance of oak, fruit, funk, and malt. This beautifully unique wild ale is perfect for aging as it will continue to mature and transform over time. *2014 CA State Fair Gold Medal Winner
