This Blackberry Biere de Garde or “beer which has been kept” is a French Farmhouse style brewed with Maryland grown blackberries, malt and hops.
It begins with a nose rich with berries, hard candy and spice. The palate is rich with bright maltiness, vinous complexity and finishes dry and slightly tart against a firm malt backdrop.
