Beer Description
This golden Belgian-style ale has a soft malt flavor balanced by a dry, vinous, oaky finish imparted by the wood aging and wine grapes.
The Mattole River is a Belgian Tripel that is aged in Chardonnay barrels for six months with freshly pressed Chardonnay grape must for a clean, fruit-forward profile with hints of banana, clove and bubblegum. The must for this beer has deep family ties, coming straight from our own brewer鈥檚 uncle鈥檚 vineyard, on the Mattole River in Humboldt County.
