Beer Description
This volume pairs melons with a strain of Brettanomyces that is know for its refined funkiness. We got Canary melons (big yellow honeydew-like footballs that are super floral) and Petit Gris (the ‘king of melons’, small orange fleshed melons prized for their brown sugar and light musk notes) at their peak of freshness from Seedling Farms. The beer finished bone dry which offers the unique experience of tasting melons without the intense sweetness typically associated with them. It has delicate aromatics of white flowers, pineapple, banana, light brown sugar, overripe pear, a refined musk/funkiness and, obviously, melon.
