Beer Description
Collaboration with Cleetus Friedman of City Provisions. Carrot cake spiced Belgian Strong Dark Ale aged for one year in an August Hill Cab Franc barrel.
Brewed in collaboration with City Provisions, this deep brown Belgian Ale is brewed with carrots and sweet potatoes in the mash and dark Belgian candi syrup, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon in the kettle ‘cause we’re wacky like that. The rich raisin and spice flavors are reminiscent of carrot cake.
This special version was aged in August Hill Cabernet Franc Barrels.
