Beer Description
We chose a base of Munich Style Helles in order to give the hops a true platform and let them speak their truth on their soap box; so it was important that we choose a hop we believe has something to say. @Indiehops Lorien has slowly been winning us over for the past few years. Itβs low alpha acid and slight Sprite-like aroma simply make us swoon over it. Plus, Lorien was bred to work well with the farmers up here in the PNW while we collectively continue to be the asteroid that kills Earth. We gave the beer only one addition of hops in the whirlpool so this is indeed a 100% fresh (actually, wet?) hopped beer that was turned as quickly as a Keller-Hell might be, 2 weeks of fermenting and 2 weeks of lagering.
