The beers of the Vikings and ingredients used in Viking times were the inspiration for Draupnir. It is a clear golden top-fermented beer with a nice lasting head. It is brewed with pale ale, munich, and wheat malt, which gives the beer a fresh mouthfeel with a discreet malt sweetness. Draupnir is moderately hopped with English Challenger hops and spiced with pine needles, sloe berries and honey.
Draupnir is a perfect fit with meat or grilled fish as well as salads.
