English Dark Mild Ale 5.2% ABV
A traditional style for Northern England coal mining country. When the need for a lower in alcohol style became necessary for the miners, publican brewers began to make this “combo” style of pale ale, porter and stout. Chocolate, Crystal 60, Two Row and Honey malt are the backbone of this brew, balanced by Willamette and English Kent Goldings hops. Dark brown in color, this light bodied beer packs huge flavor.
