Judging by traffic to the Oberon page on BeerMenus.com, the Midwest's favorite summer beer (sorry Summer Shandy, you don't count) has officially hit the shelves: views to the page were up about 500% week-over-week.
This will be the second year of an un-independent Oberon. Bell's sold to a subsidiary of Japan's Kirin back in November 2021, a move which effectively combined it with New Belgium, which the subsidiary previously purchased.
Readers in FL and AZ may be thinking "what do you mean? Oberon's always available."
That's true. But only for you. Everywhere else in the US it's only available March through September.
